Adult Ministry

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

Living, Serving, Giving

Adult Ministries

Our Adult Ministries are about people. God didn’t design us to live our lives alone. Life lived alone is lonely. God created us for relationship with Him and others. We’re made to belong and be a part of a community. We believe Biblical connection is strongest when in healthy fellowship within a community created by Christian love and oneness.

We understand people are in different places in life and come with various life experiences. Our goal is to offer a place to belong for everyone. No matter your life story.

Bible studies provide the opportunity to grow as a Christian and use your spiritual gifts. Spiritual growth happens in the context of community.

Our Adult Ministry is made up of Bible studies, interest activity groups and giving back through volunteering. Groups meet both on campus at Our Savior, off campus at various times and locations, and online throughout the week. Check out the descriptions below to find out more information.

 Growing in the Word

Adult Bible Studies

One of the best ways to grow in our faith is to learn through Bible studies. We offer many options in hopes of finding something specific for your schedule.

There are adult Sunday Bible Classes that meet Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am between our worship services. Online options are also available. Ask Sharon for more details.

Senior Adult Ministry (a.k.a OWLS)

The OWLS (Older, Wiser, Learned Servants) group is a ministry to senior adults aged 65 and older that involves food, fellowship, and spiritual growth.  Gatherings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month from 11:30am-1:30pm.  For more info, please contact Matt Fischer, Director of Family Life Ministries, at matt.fischer@oslcnashville.org.
